Teaching Mode and Aids : Beside theory and practical classes seminar and workshop is being conducted time to time. Guest lecturers from different Organizations and academicians are appointed as and when required .OHP , LCD Projector , PA System is used in the theory as well as practical classes.

Examination and Evaluation : The course comprises of 06 semester . The final examination of each semester is conducted and evaluated by West Bengal University of Technology. Semester and Internal Test Slot Examination are held as per WBUT norms and schedule. However periodical class test, mock test, seminars, practical tests are held for continuous evaluation and development of the students throughout the year.

Seminar and Workshop : Following the modern global standards of education, DSMS hosts many multi-skills oriented workshops and value-based seminars. They provide exposure to the students and furnish them with the skills needed to excel in the related fields. Short-term training courses provide the students with the required practical experience.

Students are sent to various Organizations of repute for Industrial Training to get first hand knowledge of the real-world situation.
