During the 6 semester 3 year course our students will be trained inthe following courses.

1. Penetration Testing : Various ITcompanies hire experts who constantly test on the possibilities of the information leakage thereby preventing hacking .
2. Vulnerability Assesment : This is a specially designed course module which will enable to check the vulnerability of any software system before it is finally launched , professionals trained in this modules will not only get high end jobs in a software firm but as well as the end user of the softwares.
3. Disaster recovery Management : This professionals are in high demand , they are not only employed in any software firms but also other companies who uses these sofwares.
4. Information Security Audit : This is a very specialized training which will enable a student to work as an auditor of the security system of any information for the close end users and also in the ERP based network.

The most important features of these top up courses are that it is completely independent of the highs and lows of the IT / Software market and has an universal acceptance for any company and not necessarily a software firm only

The students will be given a choice to pick any two of the above four courses and will be taught by the experts from the relevant fields.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

Passed in the Bachelor's degree final examination in any discipline from any recognized university with Mathematics and / or Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2+3 pattern and JECA-2009 ( conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board ) qualified .
