It has 7.5% GDP on Travel and Tourism sector and this is third highest foreign exchange earner. The foreign exchange earning in terms of rupees in India on 2016 (Provisional) from Tourism is Rs. 1,55,650 crore with a growth of 15.1%. India needs a huge skill and manpower requirements for its growing needs in Hospitality sector. An estimation of Travel and Tourism contribution to GDP on 2026 will be US$ 160.2 Billion @ 7.2% GDP average.
DSMS offers Two -year full time Master of Hospital Administration Program (MHA), affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), and 3-Year full time Under Graduate Program in BBA in Tourism & Hospitality, Bachelor in Business Administration, Bachelor in Computer Application affiliated to Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol.
